We acted like tourists in June!

Hey all! I'm alive *sticks head out of piles of assignments* It's July but I'm blogging about June lolol #sorrynotsorry

Carmen suggested going to SPRMRKT the other day and we headed there for an early dinner on a rainy friday. This cozy little space near Amoy Street Food Center serves all-day breakfast food and has a separate menu which differs daily!

Food was alright. Nothing impressive. I'd say skip the egg benedict's. We had better ones else where.
The truffle fries was yummehh though!

Wandered around Ann Siang Hill and Chinatown after that doing touristy things. Found a back-alley which makes a nice backdrop for pictures. YY commented that the plants looked like 'vegetables' HAHAHA!

I accidentally deleted the full length group shot we took. Mehhh ):

South Bridge Rd was very different from what I remembered: saw a lot of backpackers hostel while walking down the street. We stopped by Tong Heng Confectionery and the friends bought 2 boxes of their iconic diamond shaped egg tarts. Craving for some flaky egg tarts right now!!

Sri Mariamman Temple, Singapore's oldest Hindu temple

Btw do give this Singapore style ramen a try if you are around Amoy Street Food Center. It's like wanton mee but fancier with an interesting twist!
